More women die of heart disease than from all forms of cancer combined. Unfortunately, heart disease is often silent, hidden and misunderstood. On FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3, in honor of National Wear Red Day which kicks off American Heart Month, Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherri Shepherd ("The View"), Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Clinton Kelly, Carla Hall, Daphne Oz ("The Chew") and Ty Pennington, Tim Gunn, Harley Pasternak, Dr. Tiffanie Davis Henry and Dr. Jennifer Ashton ("The Revolution") will all be seen on-air wearing the color RED in a unified effort to show support in the fight against heart disease in women.

The hosts are helping to raise awareness of heart disease, the No. 1 killer of women and the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement. Recipes, fitness tips, meal ideas, personal stories and information on living a heart healthy life will be shared with viewers across all three shows.

In May, 2010, Ms. Walters announced on "The View" that she would undergo open heart surgery to replace one faulty heart valve. She returned full-time to "The View" on September 7, 2010, having made a brief appearance via Skype©, her first nationally televised appearance (post surgery) and one exclusive in-studio appearance for President Barack Obama's historic visit to "The View" on July 8, 2010.
