54 Below Now Accepting Submissions for 2015 Concert Lab

54 Below is seeking submissions for their new concert development series, the 54 CONCERT LAB. At the LAB, emerging artists hand-picked by 54 Below will develop new solo concerts bit by bit and draft by draft.

54 CONCERT LAB, part of "Late Night at 54 Below," is a program dedicated to creating a supportive environment for emerging artists to create and revise solo concerts. All performances will take place between July 23 and September 6 2015; specific dates TBA (based on participant availability), and will feature the wonderful AMY JO JACKSON as host!

At the LAB, each artist will have the chance to preview their concert in 3 separate nights at 54 Below, first a concert featuring show pitches from all participants, and culminating in a 20-25 minute piece performed in a showcase for 54 Below staff and other industry panelists. Between performances, artists will receive feedback from 54 Below, audience members, and special guests, and will be able to revise their show based on that feedback. Concerts with more than one performer may be considered to be a part of the program on a case by case basis. Artists must provide their own accompaniment; video of all performances is provided by 54 Below.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR SHOW TO THE 54 CONCERT LAB
