According to the guardian, Alec Baldwin, Kate Mulgrew, Anthony Rapp and Sam Underwood are set to star in '3D Hamlet: A Lost Generation.' The film, presented by Fundamental Theater Project, will play the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.

Baldwin was recently featured as Claudius in a staged reading of Hamlet that raised funds for the newly minted Fundamental Theater Project, a new theater company founded by actors Sam Underwood, Artistic Director, and Nicola Murphy, Producing Director.

This reading marked the return collaboration of Mr. Baldwin and Mr. Underwood, since their recent production of Equus at Guild Hall in East Hampton this summer. The production was directed by the award winning Tony Walton, and received rave reviews from the New York Times, amongst others. Equus playwright, Sir Peter Shaffer, who also collaborated on the recent production, serves as Honorary Patron for FTP.

Fundamental Theater Project is dedicated to creating a transatlantic theater community that challenges and nurtures the growth and development of our artists through exploration of a wide range of material, both classic and contemporary, plays and musicals, at all scales of production. Through their bi-weekly 'Think-Tank' table reading series, their 'Play and a Pint!' staged readings, or classes through the Fundamental Academy, FTP looks to cultivate artists by providing opportunities to hone their craft in collaborations with established industry professionals. FTP recently presented their first Off-Broadway production, the US premier of Gary Duggan's Trans-Euro Express at Irish Arts Center.
