Original Works and Neglected Classics featured in 21st Annual Director's Festival at Bailiwick Repertory May-June 2008

The Director's Festival has become a tradition in Chicago, as the Bailiwick Repertory Theatre opens its doors to some of Chicago's finest up-and-coming directors to tackle a variety of original works. For the upcoming summer festival, the directors were asked to submit pieces that are either World Premieres, Chicago Premieres, or neglected works by classic authors or playwrights. 9 of the 15 plays are by Chicago playwrights; 8 are World Premieres!
