2011 Members' Exhibition Announced At Kirkland Arts Center

By:

Each year, KAC exhibits a selection of artwork created by its talented members. The KAC Members' Exhibit brings together work that demonstrates a diversity of mediums and approaches, surveying ideas and methods by both veteran and new artist members. Every year is unique, reflecting the sensibility of a local curator/gallerist.

This year, Kirkland Arts Center is fortunate to have John Braseth, of the Gordon Woodside/John Braseth Gallery in Seattle, as the 2011 Members' Exhibition juror. Since opening its doors in 1961, the Woodside/Braseth Gallery has represented renowned Northwest artists, including William Cumming, Morris Graves, and Guy Anderson. An expert in the field of contemporary art, Braseth has been fostering the careers of Northwest artists for nearly fifty years.
