2011 IT Awards Host & Presenters Announced

Comedian and Andy Kauffman Award winner Harrison Greenbaum to host the Seventh Annual New York Innovative Theatre Awards (the IT Awards), in a ceremony dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway. The ceremony will be directed by Tom Wojtunik, Artistic Director of the Astoria Performing Arts Center.

The Seventh Annual IT Awards ceremony will be held on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 7 pm at Cooper Union?s Great Hall, located at 51 Astor Place. Tickets are on sale now for $25 at www.nyitawards.com. If you are unable to attend, you can join the OOB theatre community's biggest night of the year online at www.nyitawards.com/live.

Presenters for the evening include: David Henry Hwang, Richard Foreman, Richard Maltby, Jr., Jay O. Sanders, Julie Atlas Muz, Klea Blackhurst, Shirley Knight, Sally Lesser, John Gromada, Ken Billington, Robert Zuckerman, Susan Stroman, Kevin Cunningham, Jeanine Tesori and John Patrick Shanley.
