Auction Block Comes to the Miracle Theatre at the
Actors' Playhouse 15th Annual 'Reach for the Stars' Gala  

 

That trip to you've been dreaming about; a relaxing week spent cruising the Caribbean; VIP treatment you've craved from a luxurious day spa, an indulgent shopping spree for those must-haves, a collectable piece of art from internationally renown artists; these wonders await you at the 15th Annual 'Reach for the Stars' Gala Auction at the Actors' Playhouse on Saturday, April 22 at 7 p.m.
 
Over $300,000 worth of live and silent auction items will be up for bid preceded by entertainment and dinner provided by 30 of Coral Gables' finest restaurants.  The event will be held at the restored Art Deco Miracle Theatre, home of the Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre at 280 Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. Guest auctioneer will be South Florida's own Bob Soper of WFOR Channel 4 TV.
 
The popular auction is a major fundraising event for Actors' Playhouse each year.  The 2005 event raised $185,000 for the Actors' Playhouse Endowment Fund. One hundred percent of this year's funds will support the endowment program.
 
The Actors' Playhouse 'Reach for the Stars' Gala Auction gives attendees an opportunity to bid for international and domestic airline and hotel travel packages and cruises, dinners at popular South Florida restaurants, jewelry, golf packages, fine art, furniture, sports collectors items, electronics, catering, classes, personal trainer services, spa visits, objects d'art, designer and hand-tailored clothing, furniture, membership gift certificates and other items.  Black tie/evening dress is optional.
 
Platinum sponsors include Lufthansa Airlines Business Class Tickets, Worldwide Packages at InterContinental Hotels, and Exclusive Worldwide cruises on Norwegian Cruise Line. Gold Sponsors include valuable memorabilia of the Florida Marlins and exclusive box seating, The Biltmore Hotel packages, Worldwide Hyatt Regency hotel packages, and Bellsouth Yellow Pages.
