Roundabout Theatre Company's limited engagement of 110 in the Shade will play its final performance on Sunday, July 29th at 2:00 PM. The Tony-nominated Broadway revival of 110 in the Shade, stars Tony Award winner Audra McDonald as "Lizzie Curry", Tony Award winner John Cullum as "H. C. Curry" and Steve Kazee as "Starbuck," with a book by N. Richard Nash, music by Tony Award honoree Harvey Schmidt, lyrics by Tony Award honoree Tom Jones, directed by Lonny Price at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th St.).
110 in the Shade will have played 26 preview performances and 95 regular performances. Previews began on Friday, April 13th, 2007 and opened officially on Wednesday, May 9th, 2007. The limited engagement was extended two weeks until July 29th.

110 in the Shade was nominated for five Tony Awards including Best Revival of a Musical, Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical (Audra McDonald), Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical (John Cullum), Best Lighting Design of a Musical (Christopher Akerlind) and Best Orchestrations (Jonathan Tunick), two Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Revival of a Musical and Outstanding Actress in a Musical (Audra McDonald – winner!), three Outer Critic's Circle Awards including Outstanding Revival of a Musical, Outstanding Actress in a Musical (Audra McDonald) and Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical (Bobby Steggert). 110 in the Shade was also honored with two Drama League nominations for Distinguished Revival of a Musical and Distinguished Performance (Audra McDonald).
