The Clear Space Theatre Company, a 501(c)3 cultural organization, founded in 2004, is located at 20 Baltimore Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. The Clear Space Theatre Company is comprised of a remarkable team of full-time, part-time, and volunteer administrators, artists, and educators.
The Acting Company provides approximately 150 professional theatre performances each year. The company’s performances are developed by a paid team of theatrical artisans, emphasizing exceptional acting, elaborate costumes, and creative lighting. The talented casts, often utilizing students of the Arts Institute, performed for more than 15,000 theatre-goers in 2015 at the Company’s home at Baltimore Avenue or through ongoing partnerships at Milton Theatre, the Schwartz Center for the Arts in Dover and the Freeman Stage in Fenwick Island.
A typical season includes:
Summer Repertory a rotation of three popular Broadway shows, specifically targeting the summer tourists of Rehoboth Beach.
TWO Spring Musicals, plus a smaller musical in the Fall
TWO Plays – Spring and Fall, plus a one-person play in June
A reader’s theatre presentation each March in cooperation with a local community non-profit
IGNITE Musical Theatre Summer Intensive on Missouri State University Campus offers healthy technical training in voice, dance, and acting. Students are encouraged to explore their unique energy and create their own authentic 'brand' for auditions. The program provides valuable information on audition techniques, college programs, and preparing for the professional industry. The IGNITE Advisory Board and a Parent Workshop are also included.
This time with their Triple Threat Training Camp, a five day, in-person musical theatre intensive located in the heart of NYC. Built for ages 13-18, this intensive gives the next generation of theatre artists a safe space to hone their craft and prepare for a future in the industry.
Amas Musical Theatre is accepting a limited number of applicants for its Rosetta LeNoire Musical Theatre Academy “Summer Teen Academy 2021 Musical Theatre Intensive” for students ages 12-18 to be held this summer from July 27-August 12.
Centenary Stage Company's Young Performers Workshop is now seeking new and returning applicants for the 2021 Summer Program. The Summer Session of YPW will run for 4 weeks starting July 19th and ending August 15th.
The York Theatre Company will host special online weekly activities to include past York events, live chats and panel discussions with past production and creative team members, and special 'Happy Hour' Members Nights with a few games of York trivia thrown in.
Today's subject, Kevin McAllister, always has dynamic stage presence no matter the production. Currently he is living his theatre life onstage at Signature Theatre singing the Ken Page track in Ain't Misbehavin'. The production runs through March 10th in Signature Theatre's MAX space.
The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas State University is now accepting applications for NEXUS, a two-week summer musical theatre camp for high school junior and senior students from June 7 to 22, 2019.

Virago Ensemble is proud to announce the premiere workshop production of the short play 'Kiss That Frog' by Serena Cates followed by performances by special guests showcasing their work in music, spoken word and visual art. As our goal is to empower women's voices, we will also open up the space for more female-identifying artists present at this event as audience members, who would like to express and share their work.

Due to demand, The New Group has announced a three-week extension for Jerry Springer - The Opera, with Matt McGrath appearing as Jerry Springer beginning March 13. Terrence Mann, currently appearing in the role of Jerry Springer, plays his final performance March 11 due to an existing commitment beyond that date.

The Hartt School Community Division, University of Hartford will begin accepting applications January 1, 2018 for their popular Summer Musical Theatre Intensive programs, led by Hartt voice faculty and program director Michelle Murray Fiertek. Summer Musical Theatre Preprofessional and Junior programs are exceptional summer-study opportunities for young performers to develop their acting, singing, and dance skills while working closely with top industry professionals. The programs culminate in showcase performances that are tailored specifically to the participants.
